Foundation Facts

• Ford Elementary School Foundation is a non-profit organization under the Cobb County Schools Foundation, dedicated to providing educational opportunities that otherwise would not be a part of the   instructional program at Ford Elementary School.

• Ford Elementary’s Hands-on Science Lab (now STEM lab) opened in January of 2009.

• Every student at our school from Kindergarten through 5th grade experiences the STEM lab for 45 minutes each week as part of their specials rotation.

• The Ford Elementary School Hands-on STEM Lab is 100% funded by donations to the Ford Elementary School Foundation (FESF). It is not funded by Cobb County Schools or the PTSA.

•  A contribution to Ford ES Foundation is a great way to invest in your child’s future and give them the strong STEM foundation which will only serve to benefit them as they move on to middle school and high school.

Hands-on Science is FUN! Ask your child what he or she has been learning about in the Science Lab.
